Aerostatics (original album)

Aerostatics is my first album. It contains music that I originally composed in the 90s when I was a teenager, using a Casio CT-680 keyboard and a 33 Mhz 486 Compaq PC equipped with Sound Blaster AWE32 sound card and a MIDI interface. I think I used Cakewalk as a sequencer software.

A few years later, around 2000, I re-created the songs using a better sound card, Korg Trinity synthesizer/keyboard, and Cubase sequencer - just to be able to use higher quality sound samples.

Finally, in 2014, the songs were made available via DistroKid to all popular streaming services. It is fun to be able to listen to your own music from Spotify, but in case you are wondering, it isn’t any kind of money maker - I’ve never seen a dime from any of those services.

The sound of the album now appears kind of dated, but it brings back great memories and works like a time machine to me - I get instantly transported back to those teenager years when I hear these songs. So, I like to keep the album online.
